In the Rudolf Hildebrand Elementary School, there are children from more than 40 nations with different skin color, mother tongue, religion and traditions and values.

This diversity is a very special opportunity! Students learn to approach people of other backgrounds with ease, to deal with foreign languages naturally, and get infinite insight into the ways of life of other cultures. They learn to achieve common goals and that the look or accent does not matter when they work together on a tricky math problem, score a goal during school break for their team, or help each other with their homework.

The children thus gain intercultural experience at our school, which in other federal states can often only be arranged at privately financed international schools. Here, with us, every child is allowed to have this experience without parents having to pay school fees.

We are particularly proud that racism and discrimination have no place in our school. In order to make this visible to the outside, a team of parents, teachers and students is currently working on the title "School with Courage - School without Racism". We wish this project team all the best and soon to be successful!
